How to... Perform Live/DJ
Performing:ÌýBreak the clubs
04ÌýWarm-up Set
Chances are your first club gig will be at the start of the night.

How to... Break into the club scene
"Go to the club before you play there and see what the vibe is like. Make sure you come with a unique style because you can often be looser in warm up sets - it'll get people's attention."
Femme Fatale

It's very important to make sure that you play a good set but also think about the night as a whole.

If you rinse out all the big tunes this early on you may upset the promoter, the crowd won't be up for it and if there's a name brand deejay on after you, they may not like it either.

If you want to stand out from the other deejays then maybe you could use the opportunity to spin some dub plate specials.

It's a great way to make people remember you and the promoter may give you ratings for blessing the night with some exclusives.
