Radio 4 Appeal
Africa Brooke makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Zimbabwe Educational Trust. There is a birth registration crisis in Zimbabwe with around half of the nation’s children under 5 being unregistered. This limits access to education, welfare, social services, inheritance, formal employment and so much more.
Zimbabwe Educational Trust works to raise awareness of the social customs and traditions which inhibit registration, and provides free legal services and advice to ensure that every child can access identity documents and grasp their fundamental right to education.
