ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Audio Technical Production runs engineering operations for all 11 national ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ networks and delivers the biggest musical events on the calendar for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio. We’re the backbone for any national event that’s heard on air and enable some 20,000 hours of national radio annually. We are valued for our listening skills, mixing and remixing, mastering, acoustic and music technology skills. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Audio sound designers shape compelling documentary and drama landscapes. Our music specialists record hundreds of sessions and concerts across all genres which are heard the world over.
We’re a leading provider of services and equipment to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and independent production companies. With 100 highly-trained and qualified engineers, outside broadcast bases in London, Bristol and Salford, 27 broadcast support vehicles and dedicated teams to support the whole operation, Technical Production offers a complete service in all aspects of speech, drama, classical and pop music production.

Digital
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Audio's digital and social media specialists deliver bespoke cross-platform content.
We produce social media content for some of Europe's biggest youth entertainment brands, specialist music programming, speech radio and podcasts. We work with some of the world's biggest names in music and entertainment to deliver platform specific promotional content. We provide digital and social support for major events such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festivals, Radio 1's Big Weekend, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms and the Edinburgh Festivals.
We have writers and editors who publish online articles and quizzes, and producers who deliver video with technical expertise ranging from scripting and shooting to post-production editing, motion graphics and digital publishing. We also offer professional photography for branding and social media content.

Creative Development Unit
Based at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Bristol, the Creative Development Unit works at the heart of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Audio enabling teams to deliver major projects with a special focus on landmark podcast series. They bring together exciting, original talent with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Audio’s uniquely skilled programme teams in Birmingham, Bristol, London and Salford to turn good ideas into great audio. They are also working to forge new productive partnerships to create ambitious work for a growing podcast audience across the globe.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Theatre
Our specialist technical team deliver all events held in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Theatre at Broadcasting House in central London. We are responsible for the recording of over 300 events each year, for radio, television and online platforms. The 310-seater venue can contain much larger standing audiences, with an estimated 80,000 visitors attending top comedy and music performances in the space each year.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Theatre was opened in 1932, originally as the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Concert Hall. Its grade II- listed Art Deco interior houses state-of-the-art sound, lighting and camera facilities, with galleries for both sound and picture. It is a first class acoustic space for speech and contemporary music production.
