Send in your programme ideas

Your Space on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ radio

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM is launching "Your Space" – where you can take over the airwaves. Find out how...

Individuals, communities, artists and students with a West Midlands connection can submit ideas for "Your Space", a new project which starts in December 2006.

The results will be broadcast on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM every Sunday night at midnight.Ìý "Your Space" will also available on demand for seven days, via the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Birmingham and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Black Country websites.

Microphone

The programme will include the broadest possible range of material, differing from one week to the next - so be creative, be unconventional, be yourself – ALL ideas are welcome.

Previous radio experience is not essential. However, submissions from existing community radio projects are encouraged, as is pre-produced material.

Once a programme or feature idea has been selected, technical and production support can be provided by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM where required.

How to submit your programme idea

Please outline your idea in no more than 200 words.Ìý

Describe what you want to do and how you think this could work on radio.Ìý Please note that each item will be no more than sixty minutes.

Ideas should be sent by email, to yourspace@bbc.co.uk

It is not necessary to submit an audio example at this stage.

All broadcast material will be required to adhere to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s editorial guidelines.
