Thought Process: This image has been created for the album cover of El Policia. I created this particular image as it conformed to El Policia’s interest in people and complemented their like of dark mysterious colours. I didn’t want to create this face to be misunderstood as a band member, so by splitting the face in half I have removed the identity so that it is merely an icon that represents the band. Both sides of the face come out of the darkness in a very mysterious manner, the right side being in very artificial light (symbolising the gloomy areas of the basement in which El Policia write their music), while the other is in neon expressing youth. The hand written name “El Policia” represents the basement in which El Policia write on the walls, conveying that their music is original and organic.
