PUKE
EMINEM
Scene 1
When the music video starts we see Eminem being sick into a sink in a reasonably nice public toilet/wash room. He is wearing a black loose fitting top and trousers.
Scene 2
After being sick, he wipes his mouth and looks up into the mirror and with no expression on his face says âthere I go, thinking of you againâ then the chorus kicks in.
When the chorus kicks in Eminem is crouching on the floor with his legs straddled to the side of him, in the same toilet cubical singing into the toilet. These shots of him singing into the toilet will be done in a close-up shot ¾ profile.
We then see a birds eye view inside the toilet and see an island floating on the toilet water with lots of buildings on it, the camera pans down in the island and in a face on shot we see a beautiful blonde girl who is wearing a white top and tight jeans, she is walking slowly down a deserted grey street and looks up at Eminem as he sings to her. She looks scared.
Scene 3
Just as verse 1 starts the camera pans onto Eminem from quite a long way away.
During verse 1 and half way through verse 2 Eminem is sitting on some endless stairs rapping. The background and foreground are black and you can only see a white outline from the side of the stairs which he is sitting on.
Scene 4
Still during the first verse when he sings ââI knew I shouldnât have got another tattooââ Eminem is singing whist laying in a leather recliner chair in a recovery room of a hospital. The walls are yellow and there are 2 male doctors, 1 dressed in a green operating outfit and the other is dressed smartly in a suit with a white doctors coat on. There is also a female nurse in a white uniform. The doctor in the green outfit is tattooing a girls name on Eminemâs arm while the other doctor and nurse hold Eminem down on the recliner chair.
We then cut back to Eminem sitting on the stairs from scene 3. When his singing the lyrics ânow Iâm sitting here with your name on my skinâ Eminem is not looking at the camera but he is singing and lifts up the left sleeve on his T shirt to reveal a tattoo.
Scene 5
As the second verse with the lyrics â I was gonna take the time to write you a little letterâ Eminem is still sitting on the endless stairs from scene 1 and with a feather he is writing a song on an endless piece of paper.
Scene 6
Still during the 2nd verse when the words âhukhhhkâ starts, two small versions of Eminem, one looking like an evil devil and the other looking like angels are floating either side of the beautiful blonde girl in the island down the toilet. They are singing at the girl who at this time looks really scared, she starts to run, trying to get away from the two versions of Eminem, she even runs around a corner trying to hide but it doesnât work, they are still either side of her singing at her.
Scene 7
After the 2nd verse the chorus starts again, we cut to Eminem who is still sitting by the toilet and singing into it. The beautiful girl is running through the grey streets, as she is running the big version of Eminem who is singing into the toilet flicks the building and cars around her with his fingers. As the girl is running buildings are collapsing around her and cars are flipping over her head, she looks panicky and scared. (Shaky camera work will be used in this scene).
Scene 8
Towards the end of the song you can hear Eminem being sick. In this scene we see him leaning over the toilet being sick all over the island. The beautiful girl is still running, then the sick from Eminemâs mouth falls from his mouth and lands all over the girl and the island. After being sick Eminem gets off his knees and flushes the toilet. The island and sick get flushed away. Eminem walks over to the sink and washes his hands. A black middle aged nurse opens the entrance door of the toilet, peers her head around the door and waves Eminem over. Just as Eminem walks out of the restroom he turns his head and smiles.
Then there is a back shot of Eminem and the nurse walking down a corridor of a mental hospital, then fade out.
Summary
Eminem is in fact a patient at the psychiatric hospital and is the island in the toilet real? Or is it all in his imagination?
The reason why I came up with this idea was to make a point that how does anyone know that these people donât see the things they see.
A treatment I wrote for Eminems song 'Puke'.
