That's not Carolyn as well is it?
So what are you doing for Children in Need, Eddie? Personally, I can't see anything wrong with a sponsored game of beach twister - but you must be wearing speedos.
It's the latest craze, y'know.
I remember the very first CiN, when my Dad worked in local radio and I got a special badge with Pudsey's picture on it. I shouldn't think it's worth any money at all now, and I couldn't find it if I wanted to, but I do remember being very excited about the whole event.
Wearing pudsey bear is one way to hide that Morning after look :-)
Naughty cormer Stewart! (Or maybe it should be me...)
DIY and myself have made a nice little home at the corner. we always welcome new guests.
In the latest of the series of scandals rocking the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, Director General Mark Thompson today admitted that Pudsey bear, iconic figurehead of the Children in Need appeal, is in fact a stuffed toy. In a statement that left millions of children reeling with shock and disappointment, Thompson went on to reveal that the bear’s eye is in fact not damaged at all. “We deeply apologise to everyone who has been misled into donating over the years, in the belief that they are helping to restore sight to real one-eyed bears. We are looking into the possibility of refunding the hundreds of millions of pounds given since Pudsey first appeared in 1985.â€
It's when you start seeing cartoon bears in everyday situations like your office that you should start checking if someone has slipped a mickey into your coffee!
Thank you Stewart (5) for your suggestion that I might be "new" to the naughty corner... :-)
I can't decide if Shaun is wearing a waistcoat, braces (so 90's) or is "in harness"..? At least you know it's a secure job if they strap you down!
Also, don't they say a tidy desk is the sign of a sick mind?
;-)
Is that a tumble dryer in the background?
Could be a washer-dryer, though.
Glad to see the paperless office is working.
And Barnabas, don't, for goodness' sake, tell anyone, or CiN might might be cancelled and we'd have to watch, er, repeats.
Does the D-G know? Is this a money-saving scheme?
I don't think Pudsey should be wandering about. That eye's really not healing, he should be in hospital getting tests.
Will the Froggers' Song be played as part of the Children in Need broadcast? A short clip from the Bournemouth interactive rendition could perhaps be arranged!
