We thought that Danny the Champion of the World was a phenomenal play. It has everything, from funny moments (when we had to stand up and stamp our feet, make siren noises & clap,) to serious moments (when Danny & his father were about to become evicted) & finally sad moments (when dad fell down a hole & broke his ankle.)

In our opinion it would be a five-star family night out at the theatre. The props were superb, we loved how the car really moved across the stage and also the way the caravan spun around. The people who played the instruments were great - they also made funny noises like chickens. This play could top any movie and anyone who hasn't seen it is missing out and should go and see it as soon as possible!!! Thumbs up all round for the production at the Alhambra! We would definitely go & see it again!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Birmingham Stage Company's production of Danny the Champion of the World is at the Alhambra in Bradford until Saturday, March 31st, 2007.
