The four day break to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee coincides with the start of summer.

This is normally a busy time of the year for fetes and other outdoor events.

But add on the Royal Bath and West Show and Music Live and the weather outlook is more important than ever.

It looks as though the weekend will start on a warm and sunny note.

Saturday will see Friday’s fine weather continuing.

It will be very warm with hazy sunshine for much of the day, although it might be quite cloudy by the evening.

Temperatures of 23 Celsius and high humidity levels will make it feel very warm.

Sunday will start dry and fine but cloud is expected to increase as the day wears on.

It will again be very warm with temperatures similar to those of Saturday.

But during the late afternoon and evening there could be some thundery rain.

The weather looks set to turn a good deal more unsettled on Monday and Tuesday.

Whilst there is considerable uncertainly over the forecast for the holiday, it does look as though it will turn cooler with a growing risk of some heavy falls of rain.
