Q: Give us a potted history of your life so far...

A: I was born in Chatteris - a real Cambridgeshire Fen Tiger! I went to school in Chatteris andÌýMarch - then headed off to Cambridge for work and college.ÌýMight have wandered further if satellite navigation systems had been invented sooner!

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: This tended to change depending on what was on telly, what I was readingÌýand what my mates were doing at the time.ÌýI quite fancied working with animals, but ended up here at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½... should I read something into that?

Q: What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?

A: One Saturday morning, on air, I happened to mention my first love - aged 5, at school - and his dad rang in!!

Q: What's the worst job you've ever had?

A: Strawberry picking and celery hoeing for an agricultural gangmaster one summer holiday - couldn't stand uprightÌýfor a month!

Q: Do you have a catchphrase?

A: Am I supposed to?

Q: What was the first record you ever bought?

A: Saved up for agesÌýto buy The Jackson 5's album 'ABC' plus a white PVC mac... steady boys!!

Q: What's your favourite food?

A: Ripe English strawberries... and I love custard - but not necessarily together!

Q: When Hollywood comes calling, who'll play you?

A: The Wallace and Gromit team will be commissioned to create me in plasticine... failing that, Julie Walters.

Q: In a fire, what would you rescue first?

A: Jessica and Jackson, my Border Terriers.

Q: What do you do to relax?

A: I'm not good at relaxing... have I got to do this one..?
