Christopher South

The dog-loving Sunday afternoon presenter has been a fixture at the radio station for over 20 years. Witty and charming, Christopher keeps his regular guests Edna and Robert Van Der Wyer in check - as only a former docker can! Listen in from 4 - 6pm.

Q: A potted history so far...

Born in September 1937 in Hertfordshire, son of a nurseryman growing tomatoes, chrysanthemums, cucumbers etc. I'm the eldest of two sisters and a brother and went to grammar school.

I started in journalism aged 17 and worked for many newspapers, but mostly the Cambridge Evening News where I had been News Editor for 12 years before I decided to go in for the radio, too.
