The Scottish Seabird Centre
Enjoy great days out at the seaside with the Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick, just 30 minutes from Edinburgh.

Control the interactive live cameras to zoom in on the amazing local wildlife in its natural habitat including puffins, gannets and seals on islands such as the Bass Rock, Isle of May and Craigleith.
The Bass Rock is the world’s largest colony of Northern gannets and the Isle of May is the biggest puffin colony on the east coast of Britain!
The expert staff in the Discovery Experience will talk through the seasonal wildlife that you can spot using the remote cameras on the local islands and what you can expect to find along the local shoreline. Immerse yourself in Scotland’s marine environment through exhibits and fun interactive games.
There is a gift shop for lots of treats and great local produce available in the Seabird Café, with stunning views over the Firth of Forth to the Bass Rock and the North Berwick beaches.
