Make your holiday messages extra magical with the Blue Peter 2023 Christmas card! These cards aren’t just for Christmas; you can use them for any holiday you like, making every celebration super special and fun!

Step 1

First, choose a piece of coloured card, this can be any size.

Step 2

Fold the card in half, then fold the top fold in half again.

Step 3

Next, draw a semi circle on the top fold using any circle shape to create the cut out.

Step 4

Now it's time to cut the folded side out - make sure to get the help of a grown-up when using scissors. You can keep hold of the cut out for any decoration.

Step 5

Open the folded side out and stick your thread to the fold. Make sure the thread is pulled as tight as possible. 

Step 6

Now add any shape of your choice. You will need two of these - one for each side of the thread. You can also use pre-cut shapes if this is easier for you.

Step 7

Stick them together one on top of each other with the thread in the middle. Once the glue has dried, you should be able to spin your chosen shape! 

Now it's time to add the finishing touches to your handmade holiday cards. You could add snowflakes for a touch of winter wonder, or playful pom-poms to bring an extra dose of fun! ☃️
