Spring crafts with Evie
Evie has some great ideas for how you can get crafting this springtime.

How to make a Chick Peg
You will need...
Pink and yellow card
±Ê±ð²µÌý
Pen and pencil
Scissors
Glue stick or sticky tape
Ìý

Draw an egg shape on the pink card (approx 8cm tall)
Draw a small circle on the yellow card and then half a circle underneath, overlapping the first circle slightly
Cut out both shapes (scissors grown-up use only)
Draw a zig zag across the pink egg shape and cut along this line
Turn over the yellow card and draw eyes and a beak

Stick the yellow chick to the back of the pink egg
Now glue each section of the egg to either side of the peg
Let the glue dry and you are ready to see your Chick Peg hatch

How to Make a Spring Wreath
You will need...
Cardboard
Tissue paper or cupcake cases
Scissors (grown-up use only)
Sticky tape
Glue stickÌý
Ribbon
PlateÌý
Bowl smaller than the plate

Put the plate on the cardboard and draw around the plateÌý
Then put the bowl inside the circle and draw around the bowlÌý
Ask a grown-up to cut around the two lines
Make a loop with the ribbon and glue or tape one end to the back of the cardboard circle
Screw up the colourful tissue paper or cupcake casesÌý

Glue the tissue to the cardboard circle
When all the cardboard is covered you are ready to attach it to the doorÌý
Use the ribbon to attached the wreath to the door and stick the other end of the ribbon to back of the wreath
