Gran Gran Plan: Pond Dipping
It's time for a Gran Gran Plan! Try and identify all the pond life you can.
You will need
- Net
- Magnifying glass
- Guide to pond life
- Container or washing up tub
This activity needs to be supervised by a grown-up and remember to be extra gentle when handling the pond life.Ìý
Gran Gran Plan
Ìý
Get your washing up tub, magnifying glass, net and the guide to pond life ready.
Go to the pond and with your net, gently take out some pond life.
Put the pond life into the white washing up tub.
Use your magnifying glass to see the different creatures and the guide to see what they are.
Remember to empty the creatures back into the pond once you’ve finished looking at them.
Make sure to wash your hands after your pond life adventures.
