Take off the crumpled duvet, remove the saggy pillows,
Wave the sheet like a stormy sea, until it really billows!
Smooth it flat as a pancake and tuck it in, tight.
Make it really neat, not a crease in sight!
Plump up any pillows and put them on the bed,
Like soft fluffy clouds to rest you sleepy head.
Now you flap the duvet with your arms above your head,
Make it soft and cosy and lay it on to the bed.
That was fun to do, so snuggle up tight.
Your bed is now ready, sweet dreams and goodnight.
