Summary of complaint
We received complaints from people unhappy with comments made by artists at Glastonbury regarding the Israel-Gaza war and the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s decision to broadcast these acts.
Our response
Our Glastonbury live streams reflect what happens on stage, and any on-demand content on iPlayer is made available in a way which meets our editorial guidelines.  Â
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has addressed Bob Vylan’s performance and apologised for live streaming it – you can find the statement in full at the following link: /mediacentre/statements/bob-vylan-glastonbury-live-appearance. Â
In relation to Kneecap’s performance, while we didn’t live stream their set, we made an on-demand version of their performance available on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer, as part of our online collection of more than 90 other sets. We edited it to ensure the content falls within the limits of artistic expression in line with our editorial guidelines while reflecting the performance from Glastonbury. As with all content which includes strong language, this is signposted with appropriate warnings.Â
