Complaint
A reader complained that this article gave the misleading impression that Rafah was the only point of entry for humanitarian aid into Gaza, whereas the Kerem Shalom crossing had also been open then. The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s editorial standards of accuracy.
Outcome
The ECU accepted that the article had been misleading in this respect, but noted that it had been corrected by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ news, and an explanation of the correction added, before the complaint had been escalated. This was sufficient for the ECU to regard the issue of complaint as having been resolved.
