There was plenty of partying on Saturday 24 November as a team from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall attended ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Local Radio's very own Oscar ceremony. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall presenter Laurence Reed was awarded a bronze in the Frank GIllard Local Radio Awards for his documentary about the killing of Delabole pensioner Joan Rodham. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall is gearing up to celebrate its 25th birthday in January 2008. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s director general, Mark Thompson hosted the awards on 24 November.
