Thousands of people visited the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Cornwall Marquee for a packed programme of entertainment from Thursday 5 - Saturday 7 June 2008.

Highlights included Flava, onstage appearances by Su Pollard and Claire Sweeney who are taking part in Shout at the Hall for Cornwall, our Elvis challenge, live music from Even Nine, Dalla, and The Burning Lovers backing our own Elvis nut Matt Shepherd.

Over £6,800 was collected for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall's support for the Precious Lives Appeal in the three days of the Royal Cornwall Show.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall's staff put in appearances on stage, performing songs from the '60s and paying tribute to the '80s with a big fashion show.

Talented young singers Charlie Rose and Yazmin Vigus performed their own material in popular acoustic sets.

And visitors to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Cornwall Show Theatre had the chance to watch Cornish girlband Vanity performing their first single.
