In this video, called “In A Wig and a Wheelchair” we meet a protestor who demonstrated about charges for services for the disabled in Coventry.

He stripped naked and sat astride his chair outside the council house, like a modern day Lady Godiva.

The video, filmed and edited by Sarah Zujans and John Simpson, was created on the Herbert Media Sent 2 Coventry New Talent development & broadcast Project.

In the film, they uncover press reaction, explore the issues faced by disabled service users and re-visit the spirit of rebellion inspired by the very first naked tax-protestor, Coventry’s Lady Godiva.
