Born 'n' Bred:�� Lichfield, to a Scottish mother & English father.

First memory:�� Dad was working in Scotland and it would be three months before we moved house to join him. As we lived in Birmingham my first memory was him leaving home very early Monday and not returning ‘til late Friday.

First record bought:�� Beatles “Love Me Do” for my third birthday.

First job:�� At Capital Radio.

Little known fact about yourself:�� I once spilled beer over Madonna!

Favourite food and drink:�� Roast chicken, Puligny-Montrachet or ham sandwich, Adnams Broadside.

Favourite place in the world:�� Ramatuelle, France.

Any pet hates:�� Queues, prejudice, toes.

What would your desert island luxury be:�� Clean sheets.

Most embarrassing radio moment:�� The Madonna moment's up there…

If you weren’t a broadcaster what would you be:�� I rejected a career in law to do this so I’m probably unemployable!
