Following all the excitement of the Anglo-Saxon Treasure Trove found in Staffordshire Ìý Aleena Naylor managed to contact one of the team involved in interpreting the find, Dr. Gareth Williams, who is the curator of early Medievial Coinage at the British Museum .......

THURSDAY 1st October

On the mid-morning programme we have heard from several Derbyshire artists about the work they have created that has been displayed on a plinth in Trafalgar Square in London. Today we sent our radiocar reporter, Sally Swinfen, along to meet Sally Lemsford whose art work will be on display next week.....

FRIDAY - 2nd October

Now more and more these days we're seeing TV and newspaper adverts using what they term " real people " in their advertising campaigns so when we heard about one of our own local lasses winning a competition to model for her employer we were intrigued to find out more. LISA BOSTOCK from Ilkeston works as a grocery stock controller for a major supermarket, but since being picked to model for them she has gone from walkingÌý the aisles of the supermarket to strutting her stuff on the catwalk and numerous photo shoots. She told Aleena Naylor how it all came about.....
