Q: Tell us a bit about Dan Church..
A: I'm 28 and live in sunny Devon and love it (mostly).

Q: Which three words best describe your music?
A: Edgy Pop Rock.

Q: What's the name of the track you've chosen to demo and what's the story behind it?
A: The track is called Davy and is about a guy I used to know. He tried so hard he forgot to have fun along the way!

Q: Who's who in the band?
A: The album (Middle Class White Boy) has about 25 musicians that I have met along the way. I tend to play a lot of the instruments when I can.

The live band are all based in Devon and are fantastic musicians.

Q: What do you think of the current music scene?
A: It's great. Loads of people making music. Wish there were a few more outlets nationally giving everyone a play.

Q: What has been your most memorable gig and why?
A: The London Palladium - superb venue and mega history.

Q: Whose records do you have in your collection?
A: Queen, Peter Gabriel, Scissor Sisters, Nina Simone and on and on and on.....

Q: If you could have three guests to dinner (fictional or factual, dead or alive) who would you invite and why?
A: Freddie Mercury - best performer and greatest songwriter,
ÌýÌýÌý Buddy Rich - best ever drummer,
ÌýÌýÌý My mum - because....!

Q: Complete the sentence; "When we become famous..."
A: ...I will sail around the world with my wife and kids recording remote tribes from the Amazon Basin into trance tunes which I will beam back by satellite to a live rave in the UK (or something like that!)

Q: What are the highs and lows of living in Devon?
A: Exmouth - healthy, relaxed way of life and cool people too!

Q: Dan Church - in your own words...
A: I am a multi-instrumentalist frontman with a history as a drummer with 'Cousteau'. Cousteau's debut album has currently shifted in excess of 150,000 units worldwide including a Gold Disc in Italy.

I went on to release my debut album 'Middle Class White Boy' which smacks right into the heart of edgy pop/rock. It was mixed at Trident West Studios through Malcolm Toft (Bowie, T-Rex).

Playing music is my life - that's it!
