蜜芽传媒 Philharmonic Chief Guest Conductor, John Storg氓rds, leads the orchestra in an afternoon celebrating the works of the self-proclaimed 鈥淏ad Boy of Music鈥�, George Antheil.
The afternoon includes Antheil鈥檚 Third Symphony, subtitled 鈥楢merican鈥�, which Antheil wrote mostly during his tour of the southern and western United States. This expansive piece 鈥� more a collection of tone-poems than a symphony - captures the boldness and breadth of the continent and gives a musical insight into Antheil鈥檚 travels.
