Concert Information

The young British composer and conductor Owain Park returns to work with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers in a concert marking the role of the position of Master of the King’s and Queen’s Music over the last 100 years. The role is currently held by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers composer in Association, Judith Weir, whose Drop Down, Ye Heavens, from Above opens the concert. The programme includes works written by composers especially for monarchs, alongside so choral rarities, including Arthur Bliss’s magnificent work The World is Charged with the Grandeur of God.
