Concert Information

The Orgelbüchlein Project is a major international composition project to complete J S Bach’s Orgelbüchlein (Little Organ Book) and is curated by William Whitehead.

The manuscript of Orgelbüchlein has 118 missing pieces, ghostly gaps with only the title penned by Bach. Each of these gaps has been filled by a new composition based on Bach’s intended melody.

As this landmark project draws to a close - seeing the completion of J S Bach’s Orgelbüchlein by contemporary composers - Robert Quinney returns to conduct the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers in a concert of music inspired by this project, with William Whitehead playing works from Das Orgelbüchlein throughout the concert.
