Pioneering rugby star Gareth Thomas takes on a gruelling 500 mile bike ride from Cardiff to Aberdeen. The challenge? To deliver the Sports Personality of the Year trophy to the live awards show.
Gareth is cycling on his trusty road bike and a four-seater bike. He’ll be joined by friends along the way who’ll cheer him on and give him a boost by cycling alongside him in the extra seats.

Gareth will be leaving Stonehaven shortly on his roadbike when his next pit stop will be Portlethen. He will then jump on the Quattrobike to Nigg and then it's the home straight to Aberdeen. We'll try and update you with timings and locations for you to come and support.
