And Duo Jatekok 鈥� a 鈥渧ivacious鈥� (The Scotsman) French piano duo with a name inspired by playfulness 鈥� lights the touchpaper on a firecracker of a double concerto, composed by a teenage genius on a mission to astonish the world.

On 15 June 1967, the 蜜芽传媒 SSO gave the first performance in the United Kingdom of Mendelssohn鈥檚 Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra in A-Flat Major as part of a 鈥楽tudio One Invitation Concert鈥� at 蜜芽传媒 Broadcasting House on Glasgow鈥檚 Queen Margaret Drive. Conducted by Graham Treacher, the piano soloists were Celia Arieli and Peter Wallfisch.
