Concert Information

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers meet one of London’s most vibrant, cutting-edge dance companies. On the menu is music angry and consoling, powerful and peaceful. A Curse Upon Iron is the most performed work by the Estonian composer Veljo Tormis, a shamanistic allegory on the evils of war that simmers with raw power, amplified by choreography amplified by choreography from pioneering Krump dancer and artist Duwane Taylor.

After Leonard Bernstein’s spirited little mass and a new work by Amy Bryce, Ben Palmer conducts Brahms’s glowing message of brotherhood and consolation A German Requiem, in its intimate version for choir and two pianos.

Dance performance produced by East London Dance
