About This Event
CoLaboratory is a brand new series of events at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hoddinott Hall presenting unique concert experiences for music lovers, as ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW invite partners from across the artistic spectrum to collaborate with them, fusing two musical worlds.
In the second CoLaboratory session, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW welcome virtuoso didgeridoo player William Barton for a musical exploration of traditional Australian music in an orchestral space. Barton became an influential muse for Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe in his final years, and his Earth Cry is a searingly powerful work for combined forces. Other works in this all-Australian programme also reflect on the power of landscape and nature.
