Musician, actor, comedian and rock 'n' roll superstar Tim Minchin hosts a Proms first - the Comedy Prom. Tim is joined by Sue Perkins, Susan Bullock (soprano), Danny Driver (piano), Kit and the Widow, Beardyman, The Boy with Tape on his Face, Doc Brown, the Mongrels, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra, Andrew Litton (guest conductor) and Jules Buckley (music director).

Featuring poetry and music from young artists, it is the perfect way for concert-goers to round off the evening. Free tickets to Proms Plus Lates in the Elgar Room are available to ticket-holders of the evening Prom from Door 6 of the Royal Albert Hall in the interval of the concert (except 5 August available 30 minutes before the concert).
