  Mark Elder conducts the ±á²¹±ô±ôé in Stravinsky's colourful symphonic poem The Song of the Nightingale and the fairy-tale ballet The Firebird. Wagner's Tannhäuser overture opens the Prom, which also features Debussy’s sensual cantata La damoiselle élue.
