	Mentha spicata Spearmint Perennial Hardy Purple-mauve Dark green 45cm to 60cm x indefinite (1.5ft to 2ft x indefinite) Grown for its aromatic, pointed, serrated leaves, it can be very invasive and is best grown in a pot, which can be plunged into the ground. Good for mint sauce, jelly and Julep.
