Watch
out for BLAST in Gloucester this November. In fact - you probably
won't have to watch out for it at all as it'll be pretty 'in yer
face' and hard to miss.
 Blast is for the cityÂ’s new generation;
the musicians, DJs, artists, clubbers, gig-goers, MCs, skaters,
dancers and all the other people who enjoy modern city life
and actually get out there and do something! |

Blast
is the biggest music and multimedia festival of its kind in the
UK and the whole event is organised by Gloucester City Council.
The
month-long fest will feature some exclusive new visual media commissions
from artists Leo Saunders, Peter Hilary and Keith Murray as well
as live concerts, dance and poetry performances and major club events.
Chart
stars Lisa Maffia and Romeo will be going head-to-head at Liquid
Nightclub and hardcore rock monsters Sikth and ska-punk kings Farse
and Jesse James will also be providing the musical entertainment
at the Guildhall.
Enjoy
modern city life?

And
there's no doubt that Gloucester has a great underground band scene
- featured extensively on this site and showcased admirably at the
Guildhall through the Wired gigs.
