Mums up the Malverns

  • The group meet every Wednesday to do a walk on the Malverns
  • The routes are organised to allow breaks for feeding and changing of babies
  • All routes begin at a Malvern Hills Conservators Car Park
  • The routes are suitable for sturdy off-road type pushchairs, but some do involve rough tracks

We are an informal group of Mums who meet up each week for a walk on the Malvern Hills.

It started with my small advert in the local National Childbirth Trust newsletter and within a few weeks a dozen or so women, baby willing, were getting some fresh air and exercise that is free and on our doorstep.

Lets make one thing clear Dads are welcome! It's just that so far it seems to be Mums.

We've discovered that we have the same motivation: the Hills are right here in front of us and we could use the exercise!

There are no rules, no regulations and no age limits. You definitely don't have to be an NCT member.

Between us we have babies and toddlers and the idea is for everyone to feel comfortable on the walk, whether you have to stop for a feed or a change or both, or any other combination of baby related demands.

We've created an itinerary so that if anyone misses a week or few they can catch up with us, and if anyone hears about us they will know where to find us easily.

So, fancy a stroll in our gorgeous local countryside? Whether you're local, willing to travel or on holiday with your little one, come and join us.
