Phil joined ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester in 1989, shortly after the station first went on-air. He initially worked on the 'Drivetime' programme as a phone-answerer and researcher, and then became a reporter with the 'Mid-Morning' team. He joined the news team in the mid-90's, and eventually became one of the station's Senior Broadcast Journalists - responsible for forward planning and running the busy newsdesk. He's now working as part of the training team for a major project to refurbish the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s regional TV newsrooms. He's been presenting the 'Sunday Breakfast Show' since October 1998 - with a lively mix of features, interviews and music reflecting religious life across the two counties. Phil's fluent in German, and spent a year working as a musician in Germany before joining the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½. He still loves playing music, and spends much of his spare time messing around in the front room of his home in Worcester, which doubles as a small recording studio!
