June Whitfield shared a Pie and a Pint at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford and Worcester with Tony Fisher whilst they had a chat about her career. June is one of the few surviving stars of the Carry On films, but she is probably best known for playing the wifely-half of a partnership with Terry Scott in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ sitcoms Happy Ever After and Terry and June. More recently she has appeared in the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous and as Miss Marple on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4. June Whitfield received an OBE in 1985 and a CBE in 1998, as well as the British Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994.
