Paul Young in Los Pacaminos

Paul Young

Member of Streetband, The Q Tips, Los Pacaminos and a successful solo singing career...

When Paul Young came to Worcester's Marr's bar with the Los Pacaminos, he popped into ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford and Worcester to have a Pie and a Pint with Tony Fisher.

Paul joined Streetband in the 1970's and they had one Top 40 hit in the UK with the humorous track "Toast".

As a solo artist, Paul covered the Marvin Gaye classic Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½), which was No. 1 in the UK singles chart for three weeks in the summer of 1983.

He also famously performed the opening line to the Band Aid single Do They Know It's Christmas?
