I did my war work with the Ministry of Labour. I started in Letchworth, and was sent to the training centre, but they changed their minds and sent me to Cardington. I had to sort out civilian women who only had one child, and put them into some sort of war work.

I was later sent to Bletchly Park, where I was involved in sorting papers.

I was eventually demobbed from Cardington.
