My dad, Les Brown in uniform
My dad, known as Les was in the Royal Service Army Corps, he was in the Dorsetshire Regiment. He did a lot of work abroad and whilst serving in India, and serving in the army he was paid an extra half crown a day as a film extra for a production company filming Sabu. My dad, with many others had to march up and down the Khyber Pass in full kit. Everytime I see the film , I can't help but strain my eyes, to see if I can spot which one he was!
