My Nan war born in the war and was 4 and a half when it finished.
I asked her what did you feel like?
She said, "I don’t know cannot remember because I was at a very young age."
Did you remember any stories?
"Yes my mum told me a lot of stories. There was one time when the air raid went of and we here running out side and a bomb, went of and my brother got a big piece of glass in his leg and never walked properly. I swallowed a load of dust and now that is why I problems breathing."
Did any of your family fight in the war?
"My dad did"
Didn’t you see your dad?
"I did see him when he came back but only for 2 days then he went back to fight."
Did he send any letters back?
"Yes, he sent my mum a very important letter but she wouldn’t agree with it."
What did you feel like when the war was finished?
"I don’t know really, I cannot remember."
