John McConville

This is my father John McConville born 29th March 1913 died 9th January 2004.
He served from 17/07/1931 to 16/07/1938 No. 4268463 in the Royal North Fusiliers. Serial No. ZRNF/1471.
He served from 29/08/1938 to 20/11/1945 No. 4268463 in Leicestershire Regiment.
Serial No. 1835.
He was a prisoner of war from 27/05/1940 to 16/04/1945. He was captured in Lille, France and was marched 1000 miles to Torun in Poland where he was put in POW camp - Thorn Stalag XXA.
