In June 1941 I crashed in a Blenheim into a Yorkshire Moor-result a broken back.I was fitted with a plaster jacket at a Yorkshire Hospital and then posted to the RAF Hospital at Halton - orthopaedic ward -a wonderful place with of course, gorgous nurses!!One particular attractive one was a Pam Bonham Carter.I've often wondered if she was the grandaughter say,or great aunt of our current famous actress Helen Bonham Carter
