Now that I have retired, my grandchildren sometimes ask me what it was like during the war.

I have written a book about my experiences for that generation. The story of my life is true if my memory serves me right-sometimes I may have got the dates a little wrong.

I have included several extracts from this book on this site which I hope will be of interest to you.

I was in the REME at Blandford Camp from Nov 1954-Jan 1955.
