My mother was evacuated to Argentina with her brother when she was 6 years old for 5 years. 1940 - 45

They travelled alone. It took a few weeks to get there.

The boat was sunk on the way back with all hands lost.

They lived with their Uncle and Aunt in Buenos Aires and holidayed in Uruguay.

Ther is loads more to tell and could write pages and pages and would even make a great book or Film!
