When I was a young boy ,I was gathring eggs at Cromlech farm in Tregele. A Bau fighter plane flew very low towards me, and crashed through a hedge and crossed the road . It ended up in a field and burst into flames. The two crew members ran from the plane and put out the fire using soil from the field. This must have been in 1943.
