Civil Defence Sector Plan showing a section of central Plymouth including The Crescent and (in red) the Westminster Hotel. This plan was created to enable the city to be effectively managed by Air Raid Precautions staff, the wardens and other workers who would marshal the civilian population in the event of a warning and assist in the aftermath of any actual attack.
