My husband came home from the Army on his first leave at 5 am and then had a bath, then came to bed. I was living with my parents at the time. My son, who was aged 21/2 - 3 years, wakened in the morning, came into my bedroom and ran quicly into my parents’ room shouting “Gran come quick there is a man in bed with my Mummy!”. We told him it was his daddy. He then replied “That isn’t my daddy, he is there!” as he pointed to a photograph on the wall!
