I was evacuated with my parents from Guernsey.We were put on a coalboat which was packed full of people aswell as coal.The boat was moving very slowly because it had two minesweepers infront of it guiding its passage to england.We were small children at the time, consequently because of the coal we were very black by the time we reached england
